Day 2 - Cologne, Germany, or Koln as the locals here in Deutschland call it.
The single reason for coming to Cologne for me, and most people, is to see the magnificent Gothic Cathedral, which took 600 years to complete and was the world's tallest building for decades after it was finally finished in the early 1800s.
It is quite possibly the single most impressive structure I have ever seen.
